Islander Residents Association

Islander Residents Association

Islander Mobile Home Park is a resident-owned cooperative.

There are 50 homes in the owner-occupied community. Located in the downtown core of Winslow on beautiful Bainbridge Island, off Madrona Way, it is a great place to live with walking access to shops, banks, movies, the library, the ferry to downtown Seattle, and all kinds of small-town amenities.

The neighborhood is vibrant and friendly and the small homes lend themselves to a focus on gardening, patios, decks, and outdoor living with lots of friendly, neighborly interaction.

Folks here own their mobile home and also own a 1/50 share in the cooperative, Islander Resident's Association, which owns the land.  A lease is associated with each membership share and each month members pay their share of IRA's expenses (mostly the mortgage on the land) as rent on their space.

IRA is managed by an elected board and we have a resident park manager who takes care of many day-to-day tasks.
